The Festival of Doctoral Research was an inaugural event for the University of Southampton’s Doctoral College and ran from 12 – 27 May, 2016. The festival was designed to celebrate and showcase the world class doctoral research being conducted across the University.
The event was aimed at students and staff from across the university, from undergraduates to post-doctoral researchers and academic supervisors. More than 35 events made up the jam-packed itinerary and the CDT in Sustainable Infrastructure Systems was involved in presenting its research at presentations and posters sessions during the festival. The festival was well received with in excess of several thousand visitors to events across the week.
